Cristina Mornacchi, AMM, Guide de Moyenne Montagne, Mountain Leader

Hi, I’m Cristina, born in Verbania in 1983. I worked for years as an educator and neuropsychologist in several cities including Vigevano, Milan, Pavia, Padova .. but as soon as I could I went back to the beloved mountains of Lake Maggiore, where I grew up. The appeal of the mountain was strong and in 2015 I moved permanently to the place of origin in order to make my two passions, psychology and mountain, as profession. I followed local mountain guides in various activities (trekking, canyoning, via ferrata, rock climbing) as a psychologist / educator in team building works and mountain summer camps for children. In 2019 I attended the course to become professional AMM, Mountain Leader, with enrollment in the Regional Collegio of Piedmont professional mountain guides.
It is a great pleasure for me to be part of this fantastic team and I hope to share with you soon our wonderful Alps and the well-being that you feel with a nice walk in their beautiful nature. Mountains, lived with safety and respect, can be for everyone.

Trotz misslichen Wetter- und Schneebedingungen findet Paolo immer noch eine lohnenswerte Abfahrt, auch wenn sie im Tirol statt im Monterosa liegt! Dazu macht es einfach jede Menge Spass mit ihm unterwegs zu sein. Hoffentlich bald wiedermal mit viel Schnee!

Encore un trip inoubliable avec l’équipe d’Alagna Ski Guides en Val di Rhemes et Valgrisenche.🤩 Luigi et Alberto ont fait preuve d’un grand professionnalisme et de capacités d’adaptation dans des conditions de neige particulièrement instables. Et la qualité d’accueil des refuges du Val d’Aoste, toujours au top! Un grand merci, à l’année prochaine certainement 😉

We had a great 2 day ski trip with Guiseppi and Luigi. First day some ski touring and second day Heliski. We had high expectations but this trip exceeded our expectation.

We had the most epic time with Alagna Ski Guides! They took our goals and priorities for the trip into consideration and created the perfect, custom trip to travel and ski throughout the Alps. We were able to find some incredibly challenging terrain, but felt supported and safe with our guides at all times. We fully intend to book with Paolo and Alagna Ski Guides the next time we return to Europe to ski…. Italy or elsewhere! 110% recommended!

We have just come back from 5 days of guided off-piste skiing in Monte Rosa area. Despite poor snow conditions, our guide Paolo Paglino from Alagna Ski Guides did an outstanding job in finding good snow and taking us to the most beautiful areas of this part of Alps. Paolo was constantly evaluating weather and snow conditions in these 3 valleys to find the best place for skiing. We have been skiing with a number of alpine guides before, but the experience with Paolo was fantastic. Thank you, Paolo, for a great week and I am sure we will come back to ski with you again in the future.

Nous avons exploré cette magnifique région durant 4 jours en compagnie de Giuseppe, guide expérimenté, patient, à l'écoute de ses clients, respectueux, sensible et de surcroît très intéressant car très cultivé. Nous avons appris avec lui plein de choses intéressantes sur la région.Nous le recommandons sans réserve, et reviendrons à Alagna pour continuer d'explorer les multiples possibilités de randonnées en sa compagnie.
