Alagna Ski Guides

1st day: FREERIDE ALAGNA, warming up day, a big LASAGNE at lunch to build up energy in our legs for all week. Night in Locanda Margherita B&B in Rassa.

2nd day: HELICOPTER up to COLLE del Lys, ski down to Monte Rosa Hutte for lunch and reach Zermatt in the afternoon. Hotel Derby will be our base in Zermatt, with good Italian food and wine.

3rd day: ZERMATT, we explore the famous Glacier Paradise resort and if the glacier conditions are good we will ski the Porta Nera glacier (or helicopter flight to Tetè de Valpelline for ski the Zmutt glacier), back to Zermatt for the night or to Teodul Pass where we can choose between Teodul Hut or Rifugio delle Guide del Cervino, or last option stay in CERVINIA Village.

4th day: ZERMATT or CERVINIA up with the lift (or from the huts is possible to start directly with the skins), reach PICCOLO CERVINO, traverse to Colle di Verra and ski down the Verra Glacier to St. Jacques in the valley of Champoluc. Nice dinner in the Fior di Roccia restaurant in St. Jacques where we will stay for the night.

5th day: Lift up to Colle del Bettaforca where we will start with skins to reach Colle del Bettolina Superiore. Ski down to St. Jacques again and back to Alagna with lifts and skiing in piste and off-piste. Night in Grande Halte Hut or Locanda Margherita B&B in Rassa.

6th day: Extra day in case of bad weather, delated program. Otherwise we can use this day for another nice run in off-piste in the area of Alagna or Gressoney. Night in Locanda Margherita B&B in Rassa.

This is the “classic” program but other options are available and we can also tailor a program to suit you. All of these programs must be booked in advance in order to secure hotel and hut accommodation.

Our guiding prices for this all-inclusive are based on the group size (I’ve seen it, take me to the BOOKING FORM)

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Price includes
– 6 nights accomodation half board in Locanda Margherita in Alagna and Mountain Huts or tourist class/standard Hotels in the other valleys, helicopter 1 flight (second flight the third day is not included but is an option)
– 6 days guiding with UIAGM mountaineering and ski guide
– Transfer from/to Milano Malpensa Airport and  all the transfers in the Valley of Alagna

Not included
– Lunches, heli-skiing 3rd day.
– Lift passes.
– Mountain rescue insurance:

– Avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, glacier equipment if required.
– ABS backpack and the ski touring gear is not included but we can arrange for it.
– We also reccomend that you wear your helmet.
